Asphalt Duvet:
 

Temperatures up to 240°C.     

Our asphalt duvet has been developed to prevent the cooling of hot asphalt when transporting it from the mixing plant to the work place.The duvet is resistant to direct contact with bitumen at temperatures up to 240°C.

 

The asphalt duvet can be made to any required measurements specified by the customer and it is thereby adaptable to all truck or storage sizes.

 

The duvet will be placed directly on the material, and has three main advantages: 

- It keeps the asphalt hot.

- It seduces oxidization of the bitumen

- It protects the top sheet of the lorry from direct contact with the bitumen.

 

Easy handling

The asphalt duvet weights only approx. 600 g/m². For example,  a 6 x 3 m duvet weights less than 11 kg. The duvet is therefore easy to handle and takes only little place when folded up.

 

The asphalt duvet can be delivered upon request with eyelets. To ensure the maximum protection of the material it is advantageous to fasten the duvet in the front part of the platform. The duvet only needs to be folded up from the back when tipping or shoveling the load.

The asphalt duvet meets the requirements of the Swedish National Institute regarding inflammable materials. Also, it will not be influenced by the sunshine.

 

Our asphalt duvet saves tons of asphalt that normally is vested because of cooling down during transportation, and therefore it will return the initial investment in full within a short period of time.
